Discernment isn't just knowing what your boundary is.
It's feeling safe enough within yourself to uphold it.
It's knowing:
I am a safe person for myself.
I can say no.
I can change my mind.
I can leave.
I can disappoint someone.
I can be misunderstood.
I can choose myself without needing everyone else to agree with my decision.
And if something happens to me, it isn't evidence that I somehow failed to be "safe enough." Someone else's choice to cross a boundary is their choice. My responsibility is to know myself well enough to respond, protect myself, and come home to myself afterward.
This is the foundation of the Seven Body Agreements work.
We explore the relationship between safety, desire, power, trust, truth, awareness and embodiment so you can stop outsourcing your decisions and start building a deeper relationship with yourself.
Because ultimately, the goal isn't to become someone who never makes a wrong decision.
It's to become someone who trusts herself to make a decision and trusts herself to respond if things change.
